jmcap Posted September 26, 2022 Share Posted September 26, 2022 Hey All, The clutch pedal return spring snaped recently. Just getting around to its replacement. It is still attached to the bracket at the rear of the block but for the life of me can't see or figure where it was stretched to on the pedal mechanism. jmcap Posted September 29, 2022 Author Share Posted September 29, 2022 Thanks to a photo provided by a fellow '32 Olds' owner, the issue is resolved. Thinking and looking for some sort of specific mounting point on the 'Z Bar', I foolishly overlooked the obvious. A Cotter Pin that retains components of the Z Bar as well serves as the mounting point for the spring. Olds knew this statement : K.I.S.S. ......
