Complete '39-'40 Mercury rear axle assembly 3.54 ratio

Complete 3.54 ratio axle assembly including spring, torque tube, brake backing plates and brake drums for '39-'40 Mercury. Axles and drive shaft turn smoothly. Believed to be an original, unmolested unit - nice shape overall. Purchased it as a complete unit to replace my 1940 1/2 ton truck with 3.78 ratio, but discovered will not bolt up due to torque tube being too long for my application.
