Guest
Can anyone tell me whether B heads from a 66 Olds 400 can be used without modification on a 65 Olds 400? I raise this question from the standpoint of the difference in the cam bank angle of between the 65 and later Olds 400 engines.
Oldsmaniac
If Im not mistaken...All Olds 400 cube big blocks had the same cam angle...Ya might want to check FAQS on 442.com. There is some good info there.
Oldsmaniac
A friend pointed out to me that he thought that in 65 only, the 400 blocks had a 45 degree cam angle.....I checked 442.com and he is correct. That being said the 66 400 B heads may have a pushrod interferance problem if used on a 65 400....
