Guest
On my "basket case" 23 DodgeBrothers Business Sedan, I'm puzzled about the oil gauge feed tubing. It runs along the right oil pan rail to the rear, turns up and ends with a female flared nut. My oil guage has about 26-30 inches of tubing, soldered at the guage, and looks like it was soldered to something like a female coupler, the other piece I have left is a female flared nut with 3 inches of tubing also with solder on its' end. Am I missing a bulkhead fitting? Where does the tubing go into the cab? Thanks RP43FAN@Juno.com
Jan Arnett
You already have it figured out. You have a connector fitting (bulkhead) which joins the two together. You should have a couple of brackets which hold it to the side of the engine. There is also a piece of loom material which goes over the line and protects it from abrasion. If you have a manual it should show you how to mount. Let me know if you do not.Lots of luck, Jan <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
