Guest Posted February 8, 2003 Share Posted February 8, 2003 got a small problem hope you guys can help. i have a set of aluminum heads from a 64 300 that i dropped off at my local machine shop to be rebuilt. when i bought them they were completely sripped except for the vavle guides so i figured no problem i'll just order all new replacement parts. when they looked through thier catalogs they were able to find everything but the retainers. i called kanter and got the same result. so i'm kind of <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> in a pickle, if i can't locate these my project's stuck in neutral if ya know what i mean. thanks for any help or info, rooster. I put high performance springs and retainers on my '64 heads when I built the engine (larger diameter springs/retainers), so I have the old ones in the attic somewhere and have no need of them.
