Roadsterguy
I have some early service heads that have 1940s casting dates. One is a ford script the other a universal parts co. Out of Chicago. Never been installed on an engine. These are correct for 1936 flatheads with dome pistons. 68-6050-B and 68-6049-B are the part numbers. They have been sitting on shelves for many many years. They have some typical shelf wear but are in great shape. No cracks are warpage to worry about. $200. I can ship them anywhere in the lower 48 for $45. This a cheaper alternative if your building a 36LB engine and don’t want to spend the money on aluminum heads Edited June 27, 2020 by Roadsterguy (see edit history)
