Guest
I LOVE THE '25 DB BIZ COUPE, BUT DRIVING IN BUSY ORANGE COUNTY IS MOST DIFFICULT WITH THE EARLY TRANSMISSION. CAN THIS TRANS. BE REPLACED WITH A MODERN UNIT? I WOULD USE MY CAR MUCH MORE! ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS OR HEARD OF THIS BEING DONE? THANKS, FRANK, ANAHEIM, CA. JB-ed
Someone in CA produced rear end or transmission gears with a faster ratio one time back. Ask among other members in your area if they recall any of this. Some guys install overdrive (or underdrive backwards). In each case you sacrifice some low-end torque for the high-end speed. Guest
I have a spare engine for your car if it is a "B" series as well as lots of other rare parts. I am about to buy a Dodge Brothers car that is a couple of years newer, but it has an overdrive that I would consider selling if the "fit" it right. Tell me more about your car.
