Most CCCA members know that the Club doesn't recognize LaSalles built after 1933. Some people wonder why. If you want to know, please email Pete directly for a full explanation.

Then again, this ad is for a car that might be of potential interest to CCCA members. Most of us own and enjoy cars that are not on the "approved" list.

I was amused to see in the November Hemmings, someone had a Model T Ford truck listed for sale, claiming that it was a "CCCA Bronze Winner." I'm not sure if that means it is a truck from the Bronze Age, or if the guy had us mixed up with VMCCA.

It just goes to show that you never can tell....

ATTENTION - CHAT READERS

Please take Chuck's suggestion ( that you should E mail me with questions about "classic status" in the spirit that I am sure he meant it...as a joke.... in a spirit of friendship and good humor !

You can be CERTAIN it was not Chuck's intention to appoint me as a spokesman for Classic Car Club Of America policy !

Also be assured I would certainly enjoy conversing with anyone, or answering any question regarding Classic Car Club-related issues, but again, the response would be from me as an INDIVIDUAL who HAPPENS to be a CCCA member. Again.. in NO circustances should my personal observations be interpeted as Club policy, or sanctioned by the Club.

Now...Chuck...GET RID OF THAT DURNED FOOL '40 LA SALLE AD...IT DOSNT BELONG IN HERE...!

I did mean it as a joke. That's why the message had little "Instant Graemlins" in it. It is also true that you are not the spokesman for CCCA. I just figured you had the explanation ready to go in your word processor.

Shawn moved the post to the AACA DF. It's his call. After three plus years doing this, I'm taking a little time off to devote a bit more time to the many other jobs that I do for CCCA.
