Just a quick thank you to all who have helped this novice Packard Owner. At the age of 16, my father bought me my first car, a 1933 Pontiac Club Coupe, (this was about 1959), then after college I had a 1956 Jaguar XK-140 Roadster. Had a blast with that for a year until I started teaching in Chicago and had to sell it (the farm boy who bought it totaled it within two weeks.) And, about 1984, I bought a 1964 Cadillac Convertible and stupidly sold that far too cheap. Now I'm the proud owner of a 1956 Packard Executive Hardtop and am having a real blast in my second childhood. And every question I put to the forum is answered honestly and obviously with a great "realistic" love for the marque ( no matter how naive my questions.) So THANKS!

tfred, we're always glad to welcome someone into the fraternity and try to show off our expertise. I have a blurb sheet framed describing my 400. At the bottom I printed Packard's motto "Ask the Man Who Owns One"

Just below that I printed "So ask me, just go ahead and ask me!"
