parts adventure

Helped a friend this week move some Packard parts out of an old building he sold. What we moved was just a small amount of the parts he had bought from the local Packard dealer when they closed about 37 years ago. Most of the other parts he bought were either used or stored in another location.

We made one truckload of parts from upstairs but unfortunately most of what he had put in the damp basement on pallets 30+ years ago at this building had succumbed to rust after all these years. It was a real shame to see all those Packard boxes crumble apart to the touch. I did end up with a handful of things to add to my "junk" pile though.
