Guest Posted October 29, 2002 Share Posted October 29, 2002 I have recently acquired a Buick Regal Limited, 1926 from a relative and intend to export it to the UK where I live. After a few phone calls to Customs learnt that, should I proceed with bringing it to this country, will then be liable for Export TAX due at 5% of the value of the vehicle including Shipment and Insurance costs. Unfortunately, since I do not know much about old cars myself, decided to post this message and ask for help.
