I have recently acquired a Buick Regal Limited, 1926 from a relative and intend to export it to the UK where I live.

After a few phone calls learnt that, should I proceed with bringing it to this country, will then be liable for Export TAX due at 5% of the value of the vehicle including Shipment and Insurance costs.

Unfortunately, since I do not know much about old cars myself, decided to contact you for help.

Would you, in order to work out the requirements stated above, be kind enough to give me an indication of its value?

I need to know a few things what shape is the car in? Has it been restored? Does the car run? How is the body of the car? How is the paint? I have a friend that has a book that will give you the value if i know the shape of the car.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/icons/blush.gif" alt="" /> I think that I was wrong when I wrote that it is a touring. After a bit (a lot) of research I believe that it is a 1923 Studebaker Light Six Sedan. It has all (4) suicide doors. I apologize for the misprint.
