palbuick Posted October 14, 2002 Share Posted October 14, 2002 I am about to purchase about 8 used gas tanks. All are Buick from 1949 through 1953, and used. These were found in a farmers old machine shed, and have been stored about 40 years. All tanks have fuel gage and are sealed with original gas caps. I have not been able to check inside yet, but outsides do have normal surface rust and some have a lot of undercaoating on them. Very few dents in tanks. Will have more information by end of week.
