69 cutlass S engine

I know of a 69 Cutlass S for sale. It's 350/350 bench seat automatic with power windows, the clock in the dash, a very small tear in front seat and it has been primered already. The seller says the car was repaired for bending a pushrod and six months later bent another one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" /> Has anyone heard of this happening or have any idea what may have caused this? I am new to oldsmobile and am curious as to how labor intensive this may be to repair. Thanks to all that respond.

Recently my 66 Starfire bent all the pushrods on the intake side...believe it or not it was caused by badly varnished gas causing the valves to stick closed....The intake had to be removed because the pushrods were so bent they couldnt be pulled out by hand...
