Guest
Hello all. Need to buy new, 1970 Electra 225 four door Hardtop weatherstripping for windows and doors including center pillar seperating front and rear doors. This is one of the most neglected Buicks in exsistence when it comes to availability of new weatherstripping. There is a ton available for the 2 door convertibles but not the four door hardtops. The current weatherstripping is 33 years old and holding, but crumbling fast. Please Help! Need exact fit! Thanks phaseman69@aol.com

Guest
Thank you Decon Bill. Found the solution at your suggestion. A custom made application was necessary. Thanks again.
Romy
Just so you know, there's a place in California called Classic Buicks (www.classicbuicks.com - the site is there, but as classic buicks is moving to oregon, they are closed until oct 1) which makes the weatherstripping for the 4 door hardtops. It costs about $75 I think...maybe more, the last time I looked it was that much. I have a 70 LeSabre 455 4dr Hardtop, hence why I know. Hope that helps. Oh, and I believe they are supplied by steele rubber, but I'm not sure.
