Guest Posted September 15, 2002 Share Posted September 15, 2002 you can use ford 292 timing chains to make a starter/generator chain. it take 2 ford light duty timing chains to make one starter chain, or 3 timing chains to make 2 starter chains. you won,t have a master link , but they do work. cost about $35-$40 per chain.
