Neil's '41 Super Model 51
After posting various photos in the "Favorite Pictures of My Pre War Buick" thread, I decided it was time to start my own thread. I got this car in March of 2017, and I know very little about its history. It appears to be an older restoration of a solid original car. I will start out with some photos (some of which have already been posted in the other thread).
New Sending Unit -- It Works!
I got my new sending unit from Bob's this morning, and hurried down to the garage to try it out. I connected the positive wire from the gauge, and used
an alligator clip to run a ground to the body in the trunk. I turned on the ignition, and was very happy with the result.
Here's what I got with the float all the way up.
