Guest herkamer
I would like to replace the dynaflow trany in my 55 Buick with a late model automatic. Anyone know of an adaptor/flywheel etc that will work on the 322. I know I will need to change the rear. Thanks, Carl S------------

Guest
To: The Old Guy, thanks for your response--I also received a response from 56Buickboy, he suggested wwws.rodshop.com.au. He said that they make an adaptor to fit a Turbo 400 tans to a Nailhead engine ( Castlemaine Rod Shop in Australia) Is anyone familar with this adaptor and will it fit the 322? I am going to e-mail them for information but I am interested in any information anyone else coulds share or if anyone has used their products?? Thanks, Carl S------
Guest
There was a vendor this year at the Back To The 50's car show in Minn. that made adaptors for different engines. He had a 322 nailhead on display that had a TH400 trans. adapted to it. Unfortunately I didn't take his card. You might be able to contact the Minn. Street Rod Assoc. and get a list of the vendors, sorry.
