nzcarnerd
An acquaintance of mine has owned this for many years. I took these photos about 20 years ago and have only recently found and now scanned them. The engine has a bore of 5 1/2 inches and a stroke of six inches. Unlike the more well known singles of the era; Cadillac, Olds etc it has very conventional valve gear. It is mounted in what is presumed to be a very basic chassis which would leave room for a planetary transmission to be mounted beside the engine and there are holes for mounting springs etc. I think that enquiries were made in the US about it many years ago but drew a blank. From memory the oilers have a German name but were made in Detroit. There is no engine number but some of the brass (or bronze) parts have casting numbers. As can be seen there is no ignition or fuel supply.
