1937 Dodge Coupe

A recient purchace and my plan is to rod the body. I am looking for any information that would help me out. This is my first project and there will be a huge learning curve. What's the best rear end for fit, or Dodge Chasis? I need a grill surround and parts of the center piece, and a few pieces of chrome for the body. Are there any after market body parts available?

Try a recent 60s or 70s 8 3/4 rear end. I know that they will fit a 36 because I had one years ago with that rear end. All you have to do is make certain that the spring mounts are in alignment and possibly shorten/lengthen the drive shaft. The 8 3/4 sure-grip will hold up to almost any big block torque.<BR>I do have the lower grille crankhole cover for that car, but it's not cheap. They are rather tough to find and I don't know if anyone is reproducing them yet. Call (541) 535-1890 or write John S. Keiser @ P.O. box 960 Phoenix, Oregon 97535-0960. I can usually find most parts for MOPARS from the 30s. It may take some time, but they don't call me the scrounger for no reason!
