1937 Ford Club Coupe info?

I have found two '37 Ford club coupes for sale and am interested in buying one..I have done a little research on these models and have found that they only made in the neighborhood of 16,000 of these clubs. my question is did they have trim on the outer edge of the running boards from factory or was it an option? also read that another option was the rear seat folding down in the trunk to make a bed, any truth to that, and any more information about these models would be appreciated, thank you
