Early cast bronze clamps- Acetylene generator parts??

A pair of heavily cast  bronze spring loaded clamps that have  mounting brackets with a  concave face that fits a 8-9 inch diameter circle. The overall length is 7-1/2 inches, the mounting bracket is  3 inches long. The two  3/8 inch bolt holes are 2-1/8 inches apart from center to center.

 The top mounted levers are threaded onto the central stud, (3/8 x 16)  and the catches below the screwed-on lever fit over these threads and can rotate 360 degrees. The spring below the catch allows approx. 1 inch of vertical movement for the latch.

   Mounting bracket is marked "6021", the threaded stud is "6260", the latch or catch is unmarked, but the threaded lever is marked "6074".
