I think that the old-timer said that they belonged to a 1939 Buick, or did he say "Oldsmobile?" If they are for a Buick, what model do you suppose that they came from? These fenders just caught my eye the other day for some reason. I like the headlights, though one has a bit of corrosion on the underbelly. 39BuickEight Posted January 27, 2017 Share Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) I believe all 1939 Buicks used the same front fenders (just depended on whether a person wants sidemounts-those are different of course). What makes the big series cars longer is the cowl area of the main body. Also some are found with holes drilled in the top of them for the optional running lights. It is nice to see a restoration in progress (like with you 1939). I may have a hood, too.
