superbuick
I have developed a large coolant leak into oil. New oil and fill coolant, then drive for 10 minutes and low on coolant and oil is overfull. Let set overnight and pull oil plug and a few quarts of coolant come out before the oil comes. Today I pulled the oil cooler, opened it up and applied shop air to the cooler in a bucket and saw bubbles. Grabbed my spare cooler core and tested it, same bubbles. Looks like the honeycomb core is irreparable. Is there an easy way to by pass the cooler and leave the cooler housing on for coolant flow and looks? Pictures would be great if you already done this. I think the system was same or similar from 31-35. Thanks, Steve
