Guest Mark.S
I am looking for advice and parts for my 1924 Dodge. Has anybody welded a broken hand controller? Was Aluminium that was used for these parts pure Aluminium or an alloy? I would prefer to repair the one i have or replace with a second hand one. A new one would look out of place on my old Dodge. I also require the small black part that sits in the hand control and is spring loaded.RegardsMark Edited February 23, 2016 by Mark.S (see edit history)
Bob Zetnick
Probably pot metal which can break easily....someone, incl. Myers Early Dodge might have the black piece and lever....also, Myers reps this repro in stainless steel. http://www.vintageandclassicreproductions.com/DOD-120.jpg
