Guest Dantana
My dash was recovered by a previous owner some time ago from what I can tell and needed some love. I picked up some SEM Portola red vinyl spray paint and SEM vinyl prep cleaner as well. The vinyl covering was in decent shape but was discolored and peeling up in some sports. I also took the the opportunity to clean up the bottom side as well. The old crappy insulation was cleaned off and replaced with some rubber insulation that I had lying around. Pretty easy job. the key is prep, if you do not prep it right then the paint will fish eye and look terrible. Clean all of the wax and grease off first with soap and water then the SEM vinyl prep.I also painted the doors and section directly under the glove box as it was faded to a pink color. Ill post the next update when I finish the inserts on the door panels.
