Guest Posted March 15, 2000 Posted March 15, 2000 Anybody - While metal detecting under an old copper beech tree, I found a Studebaker key chain that says "Buy It Because Its A Studebaker" I was curious if anybody knew of the year it might have been manufactured - was this an ad slogan? It was manufactured by Bastien Bros, Rochester NY, in the same oval shape as one of the pins on the memorabila section. I also found some pennies from the '40's in the same spot - I picture a couple under the tree 50 or so years ago - wonder if they found their keys! Thanks. Alan Bridges
Guest Posted March 15, 2000 Posted March 15, 2000 Alan,<BR>Saw your note about the key chain, how about e-mailing a .jpg photo of it to the webmaster so it can be included under the memorabilia page, then everyone can take a look at it and get a better idea of what it is. It definetly sounds like it was not made just by a single dealership since the company you listed mass produced items like this for the entire company.
