Guest
how does the 6 volt system operate? does the socket of this system have to be grounded? The one wire that conects to the socketis it the hot wire? If there is current running to a socket yet it is not on what's wrong?
Guest
The best way to describe it is, the 6 volt system works just like the 12 volt systems, the only thing different would be the wire size, the 6 volt systems require heaver wire.<BR>As for how the car is wired, one wire has to be hooked up to the (+) side of the battery, and the other to the (-) side. On your lights, one wire should come from your switch, and if the other wire is hooked up to the housing (ground) you need to make shore that the housing is grounded to the car.
