Guest
The Madame X Cadillacs were a subseries of the 452 and 452-A V 16 Cadillacs of 1930. Thay were very exclusive and of limited production. The intriguing designation 'Madame X' comes from a popular stage play of the era. Distinctive 'Madame X" styling touches included very thin, slightly raked windshield pillars flowing into a tapered belt molding at the cowl and thin chrome edgings around all side windows. Guest
I am the creator-compiler of "The (new) Cadillac Database" on the Internet [http://www.car-nection.com/yann]. Check the section about the V-16 models; you will find a chapter on the "Madame X" sixteens.Mr.C.
