Guest
Looking for any information you may have on the Thomas Flyer. Do you know of any collectors and/or clubs? Do you know if any of these autos are still in existence (aside from the one on exhibition at Harrah's)? Any and all info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
JDegroy
Guest Chuck Conrad
Thomas Flyers are still around. They are highly desirable brass era cars. Some of them sell for figures that make CCCA Classics look pretty cheap. If you ever see one of these beasts up close, you'll understand why people want them. They are magnificent early cars.
I think Thomas was pretty well dead and buried by about 1918 or so, which is a bit earlier than the Classic Era that this club is all about. Still, I'll bet that a couple of our members own examples of these cars. Perhaps they can tell you more.
You may find more informed resources at the Horseless Carriage Forum, which you can "Hop To" at the bottom of this page.
