If I start removing parts and powder coating them, ie, radiator, stiffners, etc. will that deminish or increase the value of the car? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think it is always best to restore the car back to the way it came from the factory. If you restore the car to show condition the power coating could negatively change the value. Guest Posted June 17, 2000 Share Posted June 17, 2000 Jim, Jerry's right, With a car like that, you want to keep it as original as possible, just as it came out of the factory, also if you show it, depending on the caliber of the show, power coating parts will take off points, and also lower the value because if you ever want to sell it, there will be more work to do to return it to original condition.
