Beautiful, rare 1940 LaSalle Special 4 Door Model 52 for sale. This was the 1st year of the Torpedo Body style and the last year for LaSalle as a product of Cadillac. The Series 52 Torpedo was known for its outstanding body style, 45-degree sloped windshield, curved rear windows with no beltline, and rounder and smoother body and trunk. It is powered by the original 322 cubic-inch V8 engine with a column-shift three-speed manual gearbox.

All new glass and weatherstripping, rebuilt front suspension, Flying Dutchman water pump, rebuilt wiper motor, restored mechanical fuel pump,auxiliary electric fuel pump. Five, like new, wide white-wall bias ply tires. Deluxe heater with fresh air defroster and dual under-seat heaters. Body is in excellent condition, interior is gray vinyl in good condition.

Excellent touring vehicle which attracts much attention and many thumbs up when on the road.
