allcars
Images show a car horn made by Sparton. Data plate says it is a Model L-S and it is marked 1932. Thought it might be LaSalle, but a '32 LaSalle owner told me years ago that Sparton was not the OEM manufacturer. Could it be an aftermarket replacement? Or, is it only coincidental that Sparton designated it "Model L-S"? Witness marks on horn trumpet show it passed through a headlamp stanchion, as on the LaSalle that year, but on some other cars, too.Overall length 12.5 inches. Trumpet cone 5 inches in diameter.Wondering if any one has info as to what kind of car(s) the horn was originally made for? Thanks!Terry
