Guest
I was having the clutch pressure plate springs replaced on the clutch assembly on my 1931 Chevy, and as I was told the clutch cover "exploded" as it was in the arbor press. The rebuilders attributed this to metal fatigue and the age of the part. (?)
Does anyone have a clutch cover or know of a reputable resource for this part. The Chevrolet part number out of the parts book is #835821 and was used on all 1929 - 1931 series.
Any help would be appreciated.
I would like to get the car put together before the end of fall.
Thanks,
