Bill Jewell Posted October 11, 2013 Share Posted October 11, 2013 Hello,I have a 1930 Franklin and am attempting to replace the front wheel bearings. I had ordered a Timken 2581 for the inner bearing because that is what the parts book indicated. Where I pulled the old one off and it is actually a Timken 2581-MM+. It has a slightly larger inside diameter. I cannot get the 2581 to go all the way on my spindle. I have attempted to do an Internet search for a Timken 2581-MM+ and cannot locate one.
