Guest Troys58
Hello, my name is troy and this is my second visit to this site.I would like to say thank you to sean1997 for his reply to my original question about the upper instrument panel safety pad on my 58 special.I have since purchase the vehicle and had it shipped to be in Washington. I love this car and don't want to make it a show car but a good reliable frequently driven vehicle. One of the things on the to do list is to repair or replace the upper panel safety pad. The pad seems empty inside like the filler fell apart inside. It also has a small tear. Its black in color. Does anyone know of any options. I would like to keep it as original as possible. This was a one owner car and it came with a book the family had made will all the family and cars story and pictures. They also sent a scrap book with the original purchase order and copy of the check used to pay for it. I feel very fortunate to be a part of its life. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you
Thriller
I don't have any answer for your question, but just wanted to say congrats on your new purchase - I really like your attitude about being a steward of the car. It's also very cool to see the paper material you got with the car.
