55chevy
Browsing Youtube I saw a video that said Catalinas could be ordered with a Ventura option, or part of it, it usually included Bonneville/Ventura interior, power options, and the part clear plastic steering wheel. My 61 Catalina convertible has power steering, power brakes, power top, power front seat, clear steering wheel, power windows, as well as Bonneville style upholstery. About all it doesn't have is AC and 8 lug wheels, a loaded Catalina. Anybody have some 14 inch whitewalls cheap?
Guest
Catalina's could be ordered with the Ventura trim option from the 1962 model year onward because the Ventura model is dropped so that it is a trim option and the Grand Prix takes it's place. In 60-61 there was no such thing, if you wanted the Ventura interior you would have to buy a Ventura. 1960/ 61 Ventura interiors are not the same as Bonneville. Catalina, Ventura, Star Chief and Bonneville interiors are all different from each other as are exterior body length and wheel base on different models, moldings, script. 1961-64 even automatic transmissions are different along with engine choices.
