1939 Cadillac Series 61 Coupe. This is a very solid and original car that was given an older, amateur repaint and amateur upholstery several years back. The current owner wanted something a little more modern and reliable to drive around in, so he installed a low mileage, good running 350/350 Chevrolet Engine and Automatic transmission (the transmission is hooked up to the original column shifter). The project never got completed. The car runs and drives, but needs finishing such as wiring, some brake work, etc. The body and fenders are extremely solid and straight. The door, hood, and trunk fit is good. The underneath of the car is solid. The dashboard is complete with all of its original gauges. The chrome is mostly original and decent. The car is complete (the front bumper assembly is there and in the same condition as the rear bumper).
