I think many parts from a '46 or '42 would also work, and maybe even some from other models in those years.- air cleaner housing, either the entire assembly or just the vertical round part in the front that holds the oil bath- passenger side gravel guard (stainless piece on leading edge of rear fender)- front and rear seat frames in good condition that I can re-upholster- door panels if they are in restorable condition Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jackofalltrades70 Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 Nahart,Good luck in your search for the seat frames, etc. As I am restoring a 47 Buick convertible, finding anything in even shabby condition to start making a pattern might be next to impossible. Door panels might be able to help you with patterns if they caddy 62 is the same as Buick RM convertible. I would only be able to help with a pattern for the pressboard.
