Guest rramer
Went out side last night and noticed a light in the front of the car. When I walked up I saw the front lights on the seat were on. I checked the door "buttons", I found the passenger side button broke off. Does Bob's sell these? I did not see them online this morning. Regular parts house maybe?thanks all,rr
Grandpa
rr, Pictured is an original 1941 Buick courtesy light switch. A functional replacement is available, but the design is not the same. I was able to find a good used original one for my car. Grandpa
Guest outlaw car man
Don't know what kind of car you are working on, but a standard Parts house should carry them, Restoration Supply does, you might call Bob's and ask-anyway an easy find. Guest rramer
The black plastic button is the broken part. I was curious if we could replace that portion? The car is 1941 Buick model 71 or Roadmaster.
Guest outlaw car man
Take the part to a local car parts, AutoZone or such, match it up with a universal one, if they have one. Also you can determine if the button can be pulled out and replace in the original housing. You can get the whole unit from RS, 12 bucks, but your gamgle if it can be taken apart- I'm sure Bob's has them, have to call to find out. They may be able to tell you if it looks like it can come apart, usually do.
