Guest
In 1969 at Tri City Dragstrip in Midland MI, my 68 GS400 ran 12.8 @118MPH. I still have the timeslip as it was the best the car ever did. Details on car: 430 ci. engine, Mickey Thompson 12:1 Pistons, Reworked oiling system, 4.30:1 axle w/posi, TH400 with shift kit, flat clutch plates, and a V-6 torque converter, Factory Mfd. Stage II cam, M&H 10" street slicks(cut the lip on the wheel wells to make them fit), The ONLY factory cast iron dual quadrajet intake manifold straight out of Buick experimental, reworked heads, 4050 lbs. Wasn't too shabby for then in B/MP class, but a Factory Cougar beat me every time he was there. Ron from Burton

The Old Guy
Dean, if you had put a Buick in it ,the times would have been quicker!
