Guest Posted April 10, 2001 Share Posted April 10, 2001 I'm rebuilding a 455. I have a '72 block and '67 430 heads. I put the head gasket on the block and noticed that for the upper two water jacket areas, the gasket only had a small hole for each area and for the lower water jacket areas there was no hole at all. Is this correct or do I have the wrong gasket? I did plug the oil holes in the heads and bought new lifters, adj. pushrods along with new rocker arm assemblies.<BR> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
