Mutt's37Buick
Sounds trivial, but can someone provide guidance on how to remove the front seats?I have the front lower cushion removed. Looks like there are four bolts with nuts under the car, but cannot see the heads to put a wrench on the top side.1) Are these the correct bolts to remove the seats?2) Do I need to dissassemble something else to access the bolt heads on the top?Thanks<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
Guest Grant Magrath
Undo the bolts that hold the adjuster mechanism in place in the floor. There should be 3 bolts on one side and 2 on the other, but I could be wrong! Then slide the seat out of the rear tracks. No need to unbolt them. Mutt's37Buick
Are these bolts found on top of the wooden sliding base?I removed some bolts from there and the front of the wooden sliding base feels loose in the front, but the back is still attaced to the track system.Mutt
Guest Grant Magrath
No. Holding the brackets of the adjuster mechanism to the floor I believe. When you say wooden sliding base, do you mean the lower seat frame? Because you shouldn't have to undo anything from there. You do have to slide the seat right back to access the front bolts though.CheersGrant
