Guest m_kent
Any of you installed the upper pin kit? I'm now putting the front suspension back together and cannot see how to get the pin seals installed.
jeff
I couldn't get the seals installed either ('38 40 series). They would barely fit over the threads, and would be too long length-wise as well. I could only surmise that they were an incorrect aftermarket attempt to mimic an earlier design. I left them off, realizing I would probably have the front wheels off once a year for lube, brake inspection, wheel bearings, etc. I'll clean them up each time I have the wheels off. Also, fewer dirt roads now than when this car was built. There may be another material on the shelf at Home Depot that would work. Look at Tygon tubing in the plumbing aisle, or the biggest size of shrink wrap in electrical.Jeff
