hello. I have 1948 248 straight 8 and I will be taking the crank in to have material added to one of the journals due to it being alot smaller tha the rest. The question I have is..... is there any surprises I should know about before I pull the crank out? This will be the first time Ive ever dug this far in to engine so any advise would be a huge help.. ooh so you know it does have Babbit bearings for the connecting rods and insertables for the mains. thanks
