Guest
I would really like to replace my stock, slow to respond steering box with a more responsive box. I have heard that '69 and up Chevelles have more responsive boxes. If this is true, are they a direct replacement for my Skylark's slow acting box? I can buy one of these at my local parts store for about $120 plus a core charge. This is a lot less expensive than the ones carried by a major Buick reproduction supplier.
I do not want to rebuild my box, only to replace it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I have power steering.
Thanks,
Jeff
------------------
1972 Skylark Custom, 2 door, 350-4, Green w/white racing stripes, 40k original miles.
