Guest slacker1965 Posted March 27, 2012 Share Posted March 27, 2012 1963 - Ratio is stamped on the bottom of the axle housing - two numbers - one above the other. Example: 3 over 2 is 3.23-1; 2 over 78 is 2.78-1. Locking axle (positraction) is identified by "X" in a circle on bottom of carrier flange.Ratios available (all models): 2.78; 3.23; 3.42; 3.91.hope that helps..... slacker Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
