Guest stevand123 Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 The engine in the attached pictures is causing some confusion and I'm hoping someone out there can help identify it. It is fitted to a Gilford AS6 coach built in the UK in 1930, currently under restoration, and according to records it is reportedly a Buda ASB, one of several vehicles made by Gilford allegedly with that engine. That type I am advised by several people has never existed, but Gilfords not only used Buda Engines, they used a large number of Lycomings, and Lycoming made an ASB. Is that the true identity of this engine? I have been told that Auburn used a number of Lycoming engines, so hopefully someone will recognise it.
