Guest outlaw car man
Was starting my Spring Buick projects today, had the front seat out a bit to install the battery. While open, I grabbed the large wrench in the Buick tool kit just cause. It has a brand name of Pexto on it. All the tools appear to be there, all is very good condition. The wrench has wood inserts in the handle , big heavy cast iron looking thing. like a square pipe wrench . The jack, didn't take it out, looks like it came from Auto Spec Co, St Joesph, Mich. ( reading upside down ) Anyone heard of Pexto, appears old and original to the kit ? Auto Spec ? Thanks,Sandy

To me an old pipe wrench-Wonder if this was original Buick equipment, I always brag on how original my 1933 Buick 90 is, just wondered. michaelod
Sandy,I am fairly certain that the Auto Specialties Co jack is original to the car. Same manufacturer as that found in my 1930 Buick. Not sure if it it the same model though. Here is one currently on eBay:Vintage Restored Buick Jack 1927 1928 1929 1930 1931 | eBayThanks,
Guest outlaw car man
Hey thanks-Mine looks the same but black. Has the two piece crank handle too. Haven't taken them out, but they sit in clips as my other one. My green one only has the crank tho. Don't like to pull the seat out much, delicate fabric. Dead battery today- damn. Stored all winter- Sandy
