jackofalltrades70
I have the starter, and complete accelerator linkage assembly for a 1948 Olds. 2 door sedan. The only pieces not here are the pivot that is still bolted to the firewall and a couple of small cotter keys. Sorry, the carb is already gone. I used it on another car. Looking for $125.00 for the setup. Thanks Matt

Guest drpete
Hi Matt,Do you still happen to have these parts available? Surprisingly I just bought a 1948 Oldsmobile which is missing its throttle linkage And if you have, is the linkage for an L6 or L8?Pete
jackofalltrades70
Pete,I have sold that one, but I may have a lead on another. Do you need it for a L6 or L8? The one I had was for a L6. I'll try to get back to you if I find anything. Matt
Guest drpete
It would be really kind if you could check the lead you have. I Have a line 6. Don't know the exact year, as the angine has been swapped at some time. I attach a figure of what I have (which is not much). I have the pivot on the firewall with a short rod. The solenoid also has a short rod that possibly should attach to the throttle links. On the side of the engine, there is a threaded hole. I guess this is where the assembly should be fixed? Some earlier models (1942?) have the assembly attached under the bolts of the head. In this engine, the thermostat would be on the way.
